By Taxi:
There are large taxi ranks outside the airport terminals. Taxis are metered and cost between 25 - 30 euros to the city centre. The journey time is between 20 and 30 minutes depending on the traffic. Taxis work on a queue system so choose the taxi at the front of the queue.
By car:
Barcelona is 13 km, 8 miles north-east of the airport, access is by the C-246 highway - Autovia de Castelldefels. Journey time: 20-30 minutes depending on the traffic By Bus:
The Aerobus service to Barcelona runs every fiftteen minutes between 06:00 and 24:00h dropping off at locations along the way and arrives to Plaça Catalunya as a last bus stop. Journey time is about 30 minutes. It is a good option if you have little luggage. You can either get off at Plaça Universitat or Plaça Catalunya. Both of them are approximately at the same distance from our hotel. Fares: around 4 euros one way, 6 euros round trip.
By Train:
The airport train station is located near Terminal A and it's connected to the terminal by a moving walkway. Trains run from the airport to various stations in the city centre every 30 minutes from 06:13 - 23:40h costing around 3 euros. Journey times to: Barcelona Sants 20 mins, Plaça Catalunya 25 mins. You should get off at Plaça Catalunya station. Hotel Inglaterra is 200 metres away from Plaça Catalunya.

However, there are certain offers and some specific dates of high occupancy when this policy may vary. In these cases the exact information will be displayed clearly before you finalise your booking.

The hotel has a luggage room where you are welcome to leave your luggage without any extra cost before check in or after check out.
Can Hotel Inglaterra help me to book shows and restaurants? (Concierge desk)
The hotel reception will help and advise you in booking shows, restaurants, hire cars, etc… with no extra cost.
Are pets allowed in Hotel Inglaterra?
In order to respect the majority of guests, Hotel Inglaterra does not allow pets or animals with the exception of guide dogs. In the case where a guide dog is accompanying you, please notify the hotel beforehand.

The hotel has two rooms that are completely equipped for the comfort of persons with physical disabilities.
...rooms for NON smokers?
The hotel has a whole floor of rooms for “non smokers” upon request. Availability cannot be guaranteed, although we will do what we can to fulfil your request.
...car parking?
The hotel does not have a private car park, however there is a private loading and unloading bay at the main entrance and a public car park 50 metres away.
...hairdryer?
All rooms have a hairdryer in the bathroom.
...irons in the rooms?
The rooms are not equipped with irons due to fire safety reasons. The hotel does have a professional laundry service instead for your comfort.
...coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms?
There are no coffee or tea making facilities. In order to provide the best service, the hotel has a modern cafeteria and room service.
